QuestionHow to assign books or videos as course reserves for students to study?
Answer

1. Instructors in NTU can select books, e-books, or audio-visual materials as course reserves. Please utilize the “Course Reserves System” to apply and upload your list of course reserved materials.

(1) For departments in the main campus, course reserves that are hard copies would be at the “Course Reserves Area” at the 1st floor of the Main Library. Readers can only use them inside the library, which means that they are not loanable. Click here to see instructions.

(2) If the course reserves are e-books, the library would put the items into the course reserve list.

(3) If the course reserves are audio-video materials, they would be on the “Assigned Visual-audio Material Section” in the Multimedia Center at the 4th floor of the Main Library.

(4) For more information about a particular assigned material, one may search with the instructor’s name of the course or the course name on NTU Library website. Click here to see instructions.

2. For the classes of Social Sciences and Law Colleges, please refer to the Library of Social Sciences College (Koo Chen-Fu Memorial Library) or Law Library for course reserve books.

3. For the classes of Medical and Public Health Colleges, please refer to Medical Library for course reserves.
