The main library provides a few places for students to discuss.

I. Discussion Area (B1)

Opening hours:

  • 08:00-22:00, Monday to Sunday
  • Closed on national holidays and school holidays.
  • Closed at 17:00 on the last Sunday of each month and reopened at 8:00 on the following Monday

Eligibility: NTU faculty, staff, and students.

How to use:

1. Eligible patrons can enter with NTU ID cards; no application is needed.
2. Patrons are free to use the facilities in the area; no application is needed.
3. Library regulations are applicable to the area.

 

II. Discussion Room (1F, 2F, 3F)

Opening hours:

  • Regular Semesters:
    • 08:00-22:00, Monday to Saturday
    • 08:00-17:00, Sunday                                      
  • Winter and Summer Breaks:
    • 08:00-21:00, Monday to Friday
    • 08:00-17:00, Saturday to Sunday

Eligibility: NTU faculty, staff, and students.

How to use:

NTU faculty, staff, and students, with 3-8 people collectively, can apply for a discussion room by logging in to the NTU Library Space Management System using your NTU email account and password. Please consult the "Discussion Room Borrowing Service" webpage for a detailed application procedure.

 

III. Collaboration Commons (1F)

Opening hours:

  • Regular Semesters:
    • 08:00-22:00, Monday to Saturday
    • 08:00-17:00, Sunday                                      
  • Winter and Summer Breaks:
    • 08:00-21:00, Monday to Friday
    • 08:00-17:00, Saturday to Sunday

Eligibility: Patrons in the Main Library.

How to use (webpage):

1. The space can be adjusted according to needs and equipped with computers, tables, chairs, sofas, etc.
2. Patrons are free to use the facilities in the area; no application is needed.
