QuestionWhat is the maximum number of items I can borrow from the "Digital Media Commons"? How long can I borrow? Can I renew them?
Answer

Items in the "Digital Media Commons" are classified into two types:
1. Copyrighted for Home Use Only: Only for lending outside the library, and cannot be used inside the library.
2. Copyrighted for Public Use: Only used in the "Digital Media Commons". University faculty can borrow out for teaching and research.

The maximum number of items each patron can borrow is:

  • For students, staff, research assistants, and fellow workers: 4 items for 5 days, non-extendable.
  • For professors: 10 items for 7 days, extendable once via the internet.
  • All items labeled "assigned visual-audio material" can only be borrowed for 1 day.
  • If students, staff, research assistants, and fellow workers need to renew the materials, please go to the Service Counter on the 1st floor to return and borrow them again.
  • For details on Borrowing Privileges, please refer to the Circulation Services.
