- Alumni with degrees or certificates from NTU may apply for an Alumni Card from NTU Alumni Center, which grants 5-year effective reading privileges in library. With Alumni Card, alumni can access to the library.
- With a NT$1000 annual fee and NT$3000 refundable deposit fee, alumni can obtain one-year effective borrowing privileges. You may propose the application at the 1F Circulation Desk in Main Library to activate your borrowing privileges.
- The effective duration of borrowing spans from the date of activation to 1 year after the date. The books shall be returned according to their available date. If the extension of borrowing privileges is preferred, the alumni shall settle their overdue fine before applying for an extension.
- Alumni endowed with borrowing privileges could borrow books at the Main Library and every branch library by using their cards.
- Alumni may borrow up to 10 books at a time for 30 days, and the books may be renewed and the new loan period is calculated starting from the renewal date (the maximum loan period is 120 days).
- Audio-visual materials are not allowed to be borrowed by alumni. Only non-home-use versions are available to use in the library.
- The NT$3000 deposit will be returned after your borrowing books are all returned. The procedure of returning the deposit is realized according to the regulations of the university; the annual fee would not be returned.
